Stephanie Wolk Lawrence, Executive Director
Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Columbia University and specializes in community-based health and human services. A 10+ year survivor of ovarian cancer, she joined Neighbor Brigade in March 2012 as the Founder of the Lexington Chapter, committing to the organization out of a desire to pay forward the kindness that was provided by neighbors during her recuperation. During the course of her career Stephanie has worked in the charitable, public, and nonprofit sectors. She is experienced in nonprofit administration and finance, fund development, community relations, and grants management, and has worked for Chase Manhattan Bank’s Corporate Philanthropy Division, Massachusetts’ Department of Social Services, and Minuteman Senior Services. In addition to her work with Neighbor Brigade, Stephanie co-founded and chairs the Community Fund of Lexington, sits on the Town of Lexington’s Human Services Committee, and serves as a Board Member of ResearchILD, an educational nonprofit organization.
Kristie O’Brien Oberlies, Director of Operations
Kristie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and specializes in web database integration. A Stow native, Kristie joined Neighbor Brigade in February 2010 as the Founder of the Stow Chapter. Since then Kristie has implemented systems and processes to support all chapters, to simplify and streamline the role of the chapter leader. Prior to her non-profit work, she worked with a professional services firm, delivering analytical solutions to clients such as EMC, Fidelity and Staples. She spends much of her free time volunteering in the schools, goofing around with her five kids, and enjoying the company of extended family and friends.
