Neighbor Brigade is a certified 501c3 non-profit organization. We rely on fundraising through donations, annual appeal, grants, Pam’s Run, and community sponsorships to provide support to our local chapters. Help us spread our mission of neighbors helping neighbors by donating to our cause.
We are dedicated to providing a variety of low pressure community service opportunities and easing the burden of everyday chores for individuals and families in temporary crises in neighborhoods across the United States. In 2017, our 3466 volunteers across 6 states provided nearly 6,000 tasks of support of individuals, families and groups undergoing temporary crises.

Organization Tax Information
Neighbor Brigade is a non-profit corporation, founded in 2010, that has obtained tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN): # 27-1871610, and our 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter is NB 501c3 Determination Letter. As a non-profit organization we report to the IRS by completing an annual Form 990, which can be seen upon request by any of our stakeholders.
Where do the funds go?
Neighbor Brigade values every dollar given to our mission of neighbors helping neighbors facing sudden crises. Donations are spent wisely, helping us grow our organization and run it efficiently and professionally. Donations help us cover expenses such as the cost of liability insurance, tools to help chapters succeed, developing and customizing our software management program, and spreading the word about Neighbor Brigade through marketing efforts.
