COVID-19

Neighbor Brigade is working to support our existing populations, but we have also expanded our services reaction to the current COVID-19 emergency.

Since March we have helped in many towns to distribute and deliver lunches and food through town based and school lunch programs. Our volunteers have been helping with grocery shopping and errands for those isolating.

We have received COVID-19 support grants and donations to help purchase food and cleaning supplies to food vulnerable in the communities we serve.

Prior to COVID-19 precautions our volunteers occasionally supplied rides to medical appointments for our clients in temporary crisis. We have received COVID-19 and community grant funding and donations to continue providing transportation alternatives through outside sources.

Our client and volunteer health is important to us. We have COVID-19 restrictions in place for activities, new qualification and training requirements for volunteers and provide sanitization supplies to clients if needed.
